New site feature. You'll notice a little reddit-like envelope in the top-right corner. It should now turn yellow if someone replies to one of your comments.

Something so simple with so much meaning. Nice.

That doesn't really make him notice. You can make someone look but noticing is an act of thought, and you can't force someone's mind.

True, but I can take comfort in knowing he had to notice to get the comic. Unless of course, he didn't get the comic.

It's a way how advertising works. Have you ever looked at words and tried not reading them? It's too late, you already have. Dylan noticed.

How is noticing the envelope related to getting the comic? I certainly didn't notice the envelope, and I scrolled all the way down here to respond.

Notice-%u2013verb (used with object) 9. to pay attention to or take notice of 10. to perceive; become aware of I look at words without reading them all the time. Noticing requires conscious thought, unless you want to say notice subconsciously which would constitute a redefinition of the word notice.

Yeah, I guess I assumed he was talking about refusing to notice the importance of context to meaning. Silly me.

Well then, how would your comment act in anyway to help make him notice?
