What about the Having-to-Sleep-Sitting-Up-Because-You're-Sick-and-Otherwise-Can't-Breathe Position?

I sleep in the most awkward positions. I just ball up a blanket/pillows and wrap myself around them, usually being the most comfortable before I actually attempt sleep and then figuring out just how uncomfortable I am when I want to sleep Also, I think something's wrong with the clicky-function.

You forgot another one. "Really tall and trying to sleep on your back: Legs hang off, or head hangs off. Feel like Dr. Seus character." Yeah, I'm 6'6" ish, and I've had this problem on beds, but more commonly on couches. However I own a Subaru Legacy and if I fold down the back seats, lay with my legs in the trunk, and my head on a pillow between the front seats on the center console it doubles as an awesome camper. =)

Finally! Someone understands why it takes me so long to fall asleep. I also have a problem with sheets. They're always either too smooth or too rough.

Sleeping with two other people. Freakin' impossible (at least in my bed) especially if you're in the middle. And before you get any ideas, I'm talking about my husband and my daughter (who occasionally climbs into bed with us int he wee hours of the morning).

I don?t have problems to sleep at all... I can do all that stuff... I only hate when the C.I.A. come to my house...

I find that the best sleeping position is sitting upright during lectures and seminars. The ten minutes that you sleep while your eyes are still kind of open and you are vaguely aware of what is going on. Couple of times I have even raised my hand to answer questions without really knowing what I was doing.

why is a spotted black banner appearing at the top of the comic when I click the image?

I have this problem all the time... There is no ideal position. Even zero-G has its problems... You lose sense of balance, may feel nauseated.. Ideally, suspended in air in a tightly controlled chamber to counter balance the force of gravity, so that you can freely rotate and feel supported. Or take an anesthetic and forget about it and let the drug take care of the problem...

Sleep in coffin... very comfortable, but can RIP sheets. Also sometimes attracts particular teenage girls... which doesn't help sleep.

This is why my current 'bed' is a massive sinkhole of down and cloth. Everything gets support and has somewhere to go.

That's quite an amusing one. I personally just curl up half way between on my side and on my stomach. :P

You forgot the "dead arm" on the sideways one.

You forgot sleeping in zero gravity! I think it really is possible, eliminating the "falling down"-problem of levitating.
