I think hell would probably not be torture but the absence of everything. Basically just an eternity to sit in a pitch black nothing thinking endlessly about everything you've done wrong, knowing you could have done better but now you can't, all the while still craving all of the addictions you used to have access to while you were alive.

i know its not the point of the joke, but since I have heard the "heaven would get so boring it becomes hell" thing so many times, I just want to say it. Since no one claims hell gets boring after a while (what with all the burning and torture and all), why can't God do a better job than Satan at keeping people interested? IE i dont think heavenly BJs while playing Modern Warfare 25 with all your buds will ever get boring :P.
